What’s up everybody that’s reading I hope you’re enjoying your days in the sun and doing something that makes you happy… just as I am!
A lot has been going on in the world that I have an opinion on that would make for a great blog but this one is a change of pace, something happened to me that I want to share which can serve as a constructive lesson.
As you all know you have to promote when you release something so that people are aware, now on my snap there WAS this girl from my uni that is quite known to hold certain views, I believe it’s called feminism or something like that (whatever that is)
Typically she would read my posts then we’d engage in a healthy conversation in which she’d let me know certain places I could have improved my writing, this was something that I really applauded her for because although I share my opinion on blogs I KNOW THAT I DON’T KNOW EVERYTHING so I honestly welcome any criticism that people wish to bring my way after reading my blog posts.
“The wisest man knows that he knows nothing”
I recently came across this quote and it couldn’t be anymore relevant and true, from childhood we were always told that you can never learn too much nor can you know everything but this is only possible if we as people are open-minded and willing to take in new perspectives that may not be in line with the way we think…
Reality is Though
People are too set in their ways, people are too stuck in their beliefs and people are too stubborn to be told they’re wrong. This was made evident to me when this silly girl went on Twitter to get onto me for writing blogs and ‘trying to trigger women) then she felt soooo upset about me disagreeing with her that she asked me not to share my blogs with her anymore SMH at her big age! Just because she didn’t agree with me.
FOR FUTURE REFERENCE PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ MY WORDS CAREFULLY AND GRASP WHAT I’M SAYING BEFORE COMING TO DEBATE BECAUSE IN THE END IT’S A WASTE OF TIME AND ONLY MAKES YOU LOOK DUMB THAT’S ONE THING I LEARNED FROM J***** MESSAGING ME!
Agree to Disagree
Naturally as humans we won’t all agree with each other, that’s a given but what is necessary is understanding but not just that… its imperative that there is a willingness to understand because if everyone who had opposing views just shut their ears and refused to listen to reasoning where would the world really be?
The same way you want people to get you and see your point of view is the same way you have to be patient with others when they initially don’t agree with you. We’re not robots we ALL have the ability to change or minds and adapt.
In Kanye I Trust
Okay everything written above has lead us now to the grand finale, I might get ‘cancelled’ for this but this is what my blog is all about EMBRACING BEING DIFFERENT.
Let me get right to it… Kanye made a lot of headlines this past week due to him sharing his various opinions now to be very honest there was nothing wrong with what he said if you ask me, the statement ‘slavery sounds like a choice’ was definitely a wild one but to be fair a feel it was received with a lot of ignorance while not even giving any attempt to understand Mr West.
I bet many didn’t even take the time to watch the whole video or even some but instead chose to follow the rest, but then everyone is going to claim to be a shepherd and not a sheep.
I’m not here to defend Kanye or say there’s something wrong with disagreeing with him , the message I’m trying to put out is lets not go out and say he’s crazy, stupid or having lost the plot because realistically that’s not true AT ALL maybe you just don’t understand the underlying meaning of what was said because sometimes when you give yourself a chance to understand something it can become clearer.
